Mr. Hus Tigli is the President and CEO of Trex Enterprises’ ventures, CrossFiber, Inc., and Silicon Kinetics, Inc. He has led both companies since April 2002.
Prior to joining Trex Enterprises, Mr. Tigli was the President and CEO of OMM Inc., (2000-2001) a leading supplier of MEMS-based photonic switching subsystems for the optical networking industry.
Mr. Tigli spent nearly two decades of his professional career at Raychem Corporation of Menlo Park, California (1981-1999), a pioneering inventor and marketer of electronics and telecom components, where he held executive positions of increasing responsibility, with the last 10 years as General Manager or Group Executive of various global businesses headquartered in America and Europe. When Raychem was acquired by Tyco International in late 1999, Mr. Tigli was leading the Telecommunications, Energy and Industrial group as Senior Vice President and Group Executive. Mr. Tigli drove the growth and profitability in his group of global businesses with $900M in revenues and 3,500 employees at five major sites around the world. He restructured the group for higher profitability and started a services business. Customer groups included telecommunications service providers (ILECs, IXCs, and CLECs), utilities and industrial manufacturing companies. Mr. Tigli also served as Chairman of Asia Council and Chairman of Latin America Council consisting of Country Managers of various Raychem businesses in these regions.
Mr. Tigli received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1981. He earned his Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University in 1978 and his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering also from Columbia University in 1975.
