Trex Hawaii, LLC, a subsidiary of Trex Enterprises Corp., is a privately owned High-Tech company headquartered in Kihei, Maui Hawaii that specializes in govt. and commercial R&D in the fields of millimeter-wave communications, radar and signal processing, optics, CMOS image sensors, and other areas. Recent developments include wireless gigabit Ethernet systems, CMOS HDTV & very large array active pixel image sensors/cameras, RF/optical communications systems for last-mile and airborne applications, advanced materials, and biosensor devices.

Our Maui office is currently seeking qualified individuals with US Citizenship for the position of Advanced Software Engineer.  We are looking for an experienced C/C++ programmer to support various on-island commercial and defense projects.

This position requires 5 yrs C/C++ programming experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related program.  Microsoft COM, DCOM, MFC, Visual Studio 6.0, .net and Win 32 software development experience, Linux knowledge is strongly recommend.  Object oriented software design and implementation skills.  Good software debugging skills for complex software designs, & MATLAB Scripting ability.  Experience with embedded applications programming, CE or XP embedded OS experience is a plus.  Hardware device software programming desired
