Position: Customer Liaison – Radar Systems
Location: Travel between JBER (Alaska) & JBLM (Washington)
Employment Type: Full-Time (or Part-Time with Potential for Growth)
Purpose: Trex Aviation Systems is seeking a military-experienced professional to serve as an on-site customer liaison for our radar systems deployed at JBER and JBLM. This role involves frequent travel between bases to ensure customer satisfaction, address concerns, and demonstrate Trex’s commitment to responsiveness.
Scope: The liaison will report directly to Trex Aviation Systems leadership and serve as the primary point of contact for on-the-ground interactions with customers. Responsibilities include gathering customer feedback, coordinating with HQ for solutions, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
• Act as the face of Trex at JBER and JBLM, interfacing with military and base personnel.
• Provide real-time feedback to Trex leadership regarding system performance and customer concerns.
• Attend weekly meetings with base leadership and radar users.
• Ensure Trex’s high standard of customer support is maintained.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and coordinate service/support requests with HQ.
• Deliver written reports summarizing customer interactions, concerns, and potential business opportunities.
• Travel as needed between bases to maintain Trex’s presence.
Skills & Requirements:
• Military experience strongly preferred, especially in aviation, radar, or defense operations.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with military customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable presenting and participating in high-level discussions with VIPs and command staff.
• Basic technical knowledge of radar systems is a plus (training provided).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel between locations.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
• Ability to work independently while keeping Trex leadership informed.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience with military aviation, radar, or air traffic control.
• Previous experience in a liaison or customer-facing role.
• Ability to problem-solve and think on your feet in high-stakes environments.
Working Conditions:
• Frequent travel between JBER (Alaska) and JBLM (Washington).
• Work will take place in both office and outdoor settings near radar installations.
• Must be available by phone for customer inquiries.
